Model 5000/5500 Series
The model 5000 is a low cost, high sensitivity UV scanner that is ideal for the office or point of sale environments. Its compact case and self-contained swipe reader makes it perfect for quick verification and validation of many types of fluorescent coded documents, tickets, or receipts. The 5000 will verify the authenticity of a document with an audible alarm and an LED indicator. If a non-authorized or counterfeit document is passed through, the reader will not respond and the "NO/GO" red LED will illuminate. The 5000 model is available as Series 1 only.

Based on the 5000 model, the 5500 incorporates all of the standard features of its predecessor but provides many enhanced features and a tigher level of security in document authentication. The 5500 model's enhanced features include the ability to set a high and low trigger point. This capability, along with the scanner's spectral selectivity, allows the 5500 to precisely detect and verify a specific type and intensity level of a fluorescent material. The 5500 is also designed to be configurable with our Liquid Light Guide, and Test Fixture scanner accessories. 5000/5500 Series 1:
Includes the 5000 or 5500 Scanner calibrated to your specific application. The 5000 is configured as a swipe reader, the 5500 has open front end optics.

5500 Series 2:
Includes the 5500 Scanner calibrated to your specific application, Remote Read Out, Liquid Light Guide Probe and a customized reference tool.

5500 Series 3:
Inludes everything in Series two with the addition of our specialized Test Fixture and Sample Plate. Highly recommended for lab and QC testing applications.
